Michael Moles, Operations Manager

Mike joined the Champion team in October of 2018 as Operations Manager. With more than 35 years of experience in various IT technical disciplines and leadership roles, Mike most recently served as the Managing Director of Managed Services for a systems integrator. His leadership includes managing a 50-person IT company for 20 years, both as Technical Lead and CEO, before moving on to Microsoft as a Premier Field Engineer (PFE) Manager. In that role, Mike managed a team of 20 engineers in locations across the country.
His extensive experience in Project Management–utilizing Agile as a Scrum Master and adopting Waterfall methodologies–has allowed Mike to spearhead successful projects within his organization as well as for the customers he serves.
As a community-minded individual, Mike is active in local area technical councils, economic development efforts, and government technology initiatives. Mike was a former Chair for the Research Park Corporation and has served on numerous Boards of Directors in the Baton Rouge area.
Mike holds Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
