Control Systems Integrator/Automation Engineer position available.

Champion Technology Services is a Control Systems  Integration company with offices in Baton Rouge,  New Orleans, and Lake Charles LA, Houston TX, Jackson MS,  and Salt Lake City UT.   We support a wide range of technologies from remote telemetry and industrial automation to enterprise level plant management systems. Our client base is comprised of various companies from small businesses to multi-national corporations operating within the following areas:

We are a rapidly expanding team of professionals looking to continue to provide a world-class service to our client base.   Ideal applicants should have a working knowledge of computer programming, electrical theory and/or experience in industrial automation.   We are especially interested in applicants with Siemens PCS7 training and experience.

• Program, maintain  and troubleshoot PLC, DCS, and HMI systems.
• Data processing & management; database development
• Maintain and develop effective client relationships.

Preferred Technical Skills:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, (Word, Visio, Excel, and Access)
• Visual Basic, C#, C++, MS .NET, SQL 
• Allen-Bradley SLC/CLX, Modicon 984LL/Unity
• Siemens S5, S7, PCS7
• Control Microsystems, Fisher ROC RTU's & Flow Computers
• Honeywell TDC2000/3000/Experion PKS, Emerson DeltaV, Yokogawa CS3000 
• HMI  Software (RSView32/SE,  Intellution Fix32/iFix, Wonderware InTouch/AppServer, WinCC)

Preferred Experience/Education:  

• Working knowledge of Computer Programming
• Working knowledge of Electrical Theory
• BS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or 2 years of real-time experience
